To us, the baby boy. To the world, he’s a GIANT! Yan is style, power, endurance, talent, charm and subversion. He arrived on the scene in 2015 and his first EP “Alívio” (2017) ranked eighth among the best albums from Bahia of the year in an opinion poll on the Elcabong website. On his album, PINKBOY, he swims against the tide, defying statistics, breaking rules imposed on life, on art and on what he can and should (or not) do, stepping out of the box. The song “Garota de Salvador” has already reached the mark of more than 300k plays, something that continues to grow. Pink as a personal brand also came as a form of resistance, ignoring family oppressions and recognizing his roots.
